1.Edit the apache config file. Add/Open these contents:

SetEnvIfNoCase Request_URI .(?:pdf|doc)$ no-gzip dont-vary 
AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE text/html text/plain text/xml text/css 
AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE application/x-javascript

2.restart apache
